ACM SIGMOD/PODS Conference: Providence, 2009

We are delighted to invite you to attend ACM SIGMOD/PODS, to be held in the city of Providence, Rhode Island, from June 29th to July 2, 2009.
Recent News and Site Updates
- Information on local restaurants, the awards session talks, and a venue map have been added.
- The deadline for receiving a discounted rate at the Westin has been extended to June 24.
- The end of online registration is June 15 (registration fees will increase afterwards).
- The program for the SIGMOD New Researchers Symposium, to occur Tuesday at 6pm, has been announced.
- The Westin has offerred us a $10 discount on the nightly room rate as well as free in-room WiFi access. Please book early before our room block is gone so that you can enjoy easy, indoor access to the convention center and the comfort of Westin. (If you have already booked, you will receive these benefits at time of check-in. No need to call the hotel.)
- Conference registration is now open. Early registration ends May 29th.
- A limited number of rooms are available at The Westin Providence Hotel at a special rate, including a special offer for students. Reserve before May 30th; details are on the Venue and Hotel page.
- Students may apply for travel grants. The deadline is May 25th.
The SIGMOD/PODS Conference
The annual ACM SIGMOD/PODS conference is a leading international forum for database researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore cutting-edge ideas and results, and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences.
